Uttarakhand High Court Recruitment 2016 of Stenographer/ Personal Assistant in District/ Subordinate/ Family Courts of Uttarakhand [Advertisement No. 3103/UHC/Admin-B/Rec-2016/2016]
High Court of Uttarakhand invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Stenographer, and Personal Assistants by direct recruitment in District/ Subordinate/ Family Courts of Uttarakhand. Candidates must have valid employment exchange registration as on last date of receipt of application.
Stenographer Grade I in District and Subordinate Courts- 91 Vacancies
Personal Assistant in Family Court- 05 Vacancies

Pay Scale:
Stenographer: Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/-
Personal Assistant: Rs. 9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-
Educational Qualification:
Personal Assistant- Candidates must possess a Bachelor degree of a University established by Law in India or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. Candidates should have good knowledge of English Shorthand and typewriting with minimum speed of 40 words per minute in English typewriting and 100 words per minute in English shorthand dictation.
Stenographer- The candidate must have completed Graduation in 10+2+3 system and should have English shorthand speed of 80 words per minute on computer and typing speed of 35 words per minute in English on computer. The candidates must also have Hindi shorthand speed of 80 words per minute on computer and typing speed of 25 words per minute on computer.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 42 years as on 01-July-2016. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written examination of 140 marks, Test of shorthand dictation in English and typing on computer of 60 marks.

Rs. 200/- for Candidates belonging to General/ OBC Category
Rs. 100/- for Scheduled Class, Scheduled Tribe category candidates
Applicants are suggested to pay the application fee through demand draft of any nationalized bank drawn in favour of Registrar General, High Court of Uttarakhand, payable at Nainital.
