UPSC Special Recruitment Advertisement Number 51/2016 Notification

Union Public Service Commission invited online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of various permanent Posts as Assistant Directors (Cost), Assistant Architects, and Deputy Architects Positions through Special Advertisement Number 51/2016. Candidates who wish to apply for more than one post should apply separately for each post and pay the fee for each post in the prescribed manner.

Vacancy Number 16015102716- Assistant Architect, Ministry/ Department of Health & Family Welfare: 01 Vacancy

Vacancy Number 16015103716- Deputy Architects in CPWD, Ministry of Urban Development: 13 Vacancies

Vacancy Number 16015104716- Assistant Architects in CPWD, Ministry of Urban Development: 22 Vacancies

Important Dates:
Last Date for Submission of ORA: 04-February-2016
Last Date for Printing of Completely Submitted Online Application: 05-February-2016

Upper Age Limit: 35 years for Assistant Directors (Cost) and Deputy Architects Positions, 30 years for Assistant Architects Positions

Qualification:
Assistant Directors (Cost)- Candidates must posses Qualifications recognized for enrollment in the Register of Members of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.

Assistant Architects, Deputy Architects- Candidates must possess Degree in Architecture of a recognized University or equivalent. Candidates should be registered with Council of Architecture.

Selection Process:
Assistant Directors (Cost)- Candidates will be selected on the basis of Computer Based Recruitment Test, objective type questions with multiple choice answers of two hours duration and will carry a maximum of 100 marks. Shortlisted candidates on the basis of CBRT, will be called for interview. Selected candidates will be appointed on probation as per rule.

Assistant Architects, and Deputy Architects- Candidates will be selected on the basis of Computer Based Recruitment Test, objective type questions with multiple choice answers of two hours duration and will carry a maximum of 300 marks. Shortlisted candidates on the basis of CBRT, will be called for interview. Selected candidates will be appointed on probation as per rule.

Syllabus For Computer Based Recruitment Test For Assistant Directors (Cost)- Questions will be asked from various areas as Cost Audit under Companies Act, Cost Accounting Records Rules under Companies Act, Costs, Cost-Volume-Profit Analysis, Pricing Decision, Budgetary Control, Financial Statement Analysis, Costing Methods, Marginal Costing, Standard Costing, Material Management, Decision Making, Capital Budgeting, Enterprise Resource Planning, Project Management Techniques, Cost Accounting Standard, Emerging concepts in Cost and Management Accounting

Syllabus For Computer Based Recruitment Test For Assistant Architects, and Deputy Architects- Questions will be asked from various areas as Architectural Design, Basic Design & Visual Arts, Computer Applications in Architecture, Climatology, Theory of Architecture, Acoustics, Contemporary Architecture, Estimating & Costing, Physical Planning, Professional Practice, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, Earthquake Resistant Structure, Urban Design, Construction Management, Ecology & Environment, Housing, Conservation, Building Automation Systems, National Building Codes

Application Fee: Rs. 25/-
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.
SC/ ST/ PH/ Women candidates of any community are exempted from payment of application fee.
