Qualification:
Assistant Director- Candidates must have completed BE/ B.Tech. in relevant engineering discipline from a recognized University or passed Associate Membership Examination Part I and Part II of the Institution of Engineers (India) in the above disciplines of Engineering or Technology. One year experience is desirable.
Scientist- Candidates must have completed Master’s Degree in Physics from a recognized University or Institute, and have at least three years research experience in Physics.
Upper Age Limit As on 28-May-2015:
Assistant Director– 30 years
Scientist– 35 years
Relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable as per rules.
Pay Scale:
Assistant Director: Rs. 9,300-34,800 (PB-2) + Rs. 4,600 (Grade Pay)
Scientist: Rs.15,600-39,100 (PB-3) + Rs. 5,400 (Grade Pay)
Senior Assistant Controllers of Mines, Deputy Director, Assistant Professor: Rs.15,600-39,100 (PB-3) + Rs. 6,600 (Grade Pay)
