Advertisement No U-48-UPRVUSA-2022 U.P. Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd. (UPRVUNL) intends to recruit Technician Grade II Posts in Electrical, Mechanical, and Instrument Disciplines. Candidates shall have to undergo training for a minimum period of one year. After successful completion of training, candidates will be posted a at any power station within the U.P. Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd.

Technician Grade 2 (Electrical)- 190 Vacancies
Technician Grade 2 (Mechanical)- 60 Vacancies
Technician Grade 2 (Instrumentation)- 12 Vacancies
Total Number of Vacancies: 262 Posts
Age Limit: The candidates must have obtained minimum age of 18 years and should not exceeded maximum age of 40 years as on 01-July-2022. Relaxation in age limit will be as per rules.
Educational Qualification:
Technician Grade 2 (Electrical)- Candidate must possess High School/ equivalent exam with Science and Mathematics subjects and have certificate in Electrician Trade.
Technician Grade 2 (Mechanical)- Candidate must possess High School/ equivalent exam with Science and Mathematics subjects and have certificate in Fitter Trade.
Technician Grade 2 (Instrument)- Candidate must possess High School/ equivalent exam with Science and Mathematics subjects and have certificate in Instrument Trade/ Electronics Trade.
Note: Candidates should also have certificate of course on computer concept of minimum 80 hours duration only from DOEACC (NIELIT).
Pay Scale: Selected candidates for the post of Technician Grade 2 will get the Pay Level 4 ₹ 28000/-
Application Fee (Application Fee Deposit Procedure):
For General and OBC category candidates: Rs. 1180/-
For SC/ ST category candidates: Rs. 826/-
Divyang: Rs. 12/-
Candidates are suggested to pay the fee in form of Bank Challan Form, Payable at State Bank of India Branches or may also pay by using ATM cum Debit Card/ Credit Card/ SBI Net banking.
Selection Process: Candidates will have to face Online Written Test (CBT) of 200 marks, and Interview of 25 marks for Technician Grade 2 Posts.
Part-I: There shall be 150 objective type questions from the syllabus of ITI.
Part-II: 50 Objective type questions comprising General Hindi, General Knowledge and Reasoning.
Centre for Computer Based Test: Agra, Allahabad, Bareilly, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Mathura, Varanasi, and Greater Noida.
