UP Higher Education Service Commission Recruitment 2021 For 2003 Posts of Assistant Professors in various Disciplines
Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Service Commission is one of the vital nodal agencies for the state of Uttar Pradesh and is operating for recruitment of Assistant Professors, Lecturers and academic staff in the Higher Education Level in the state. As the Higher Education is the one of the most fundamental base education for a person to build a career, the significance of the Service Commission enhances multifold for competent selection of candidates, who will be playing a vital role in building a strong foundation for any person.
With the recent announcement, the Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Service Commission is inviting applications to fill up 1652 positions of Assistant Professors in various disciplines, who will be posted in different Government Colleges in various parts of the state. Recruitment to all these posts will follow the norms of UGC and the State Higher Education Service Commission, and will be done on a free and fair selection process.

Vacancies in other category are reserved as per the state government norms.
Domicile Requirement: Applicants, who are native domiciles of India and are residing in Uttar Pradesh for at least 5 years are only eligible to participate in this recruitment procedure.
Pay Scale: The candidates selected as Assistant Professors will be eligible for a remuneration in the Scale of PB-II in the range of Rs.15600 – Rs.39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs.6000 along with other perks and allowances.
Education Qualification: Candidates must have obtained Post-Graduation in concerned disciplines with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in aggregate. The candidates must have cleared GRF/ NET/ SLET (UGC/CSIR/ICAR) and should have a certificate in this respect. The candidates having PhD/ DPhil qualification are exempted from NET/ SLET requirements.
Application Fee:
For SC/ST candidates: Rs. 1000 (Application Fees) + Rs.400 (At the time of Interview)
For all others: Rs. 2000 (Application Fees) + Rs.800 (At the time of Interview)
The fees can be deposited through e-challan as downloaded from the website of Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Service Commission at uphesc.org after completion of Stage-I of the registration.
After two days (48 hours) of making the fee payment through any Brach of State Bank of India the State-II of the registration can be completed and the print out of the application can be taken out.
Mode of Selection: The selection of candidates will be done through a Written Examination and a Personal Interview. The final merit list will be selected as per the norms of the UP Higher Education Parishad.
