Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission, invited online applications from eligible male and female candidates for direct recruitment of Jail Guard (Prison Guard – Bandi Rakshak) in Uttarakhand Jail (Prisons) Department (कारागार विभाग).
Jail Guard (जेल बंदीरक्षक)- 213 vacancies in Jail Department (कारागार विभाग)
Pay Scale: Candidates selected for the post of Jail Guard (Jail Bandi Rakshak), will get the scale of pay Rs. 19,900-63,200/- Pay Matrix Level- 2
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Physical Standards, Physical Fitness test, and Written Examination (100 Marks of 2 Hours Duration).

Written Exam [UKSSSC UKSSSC Jail Guard Bandi Rakshak]: December, 2021
Educational Qualification: Candidates must pass Intermediate/ 12th/ 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board or University. Candidates must have fulfilled required physical standards. Candidates should have working knowledge of written Hindi.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 35 years as on 01-July-2020. Relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category candidates applicable as per rules.
Pay Scale: Candidates selected for the post of Sahayak Lekhakar, will get the scale of pay Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 2800/-.
Examination Fee:
Rs. 150/- for SC/ ST category candidates of Uttarakhand State
Rs. 300/- for All Other category candidates
