Uttrakhand Judicial Service – Civil Judge (Junior Division) Examination -2012

The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, the state nodal agency for recruitment of all Government job related positions has invited application for recruitment of Civil Judge in the Junior Division of recruitment in the state of Uttarakhand. The details relevant to the filing of application and eligibility conditions are mentioned as under:
The positions advertised for: Civil Judge (Junior Division)
Total Number of Vacancies: 08 (02 reserved for Women from Unreserved vacancy of 07, 01 reserved for OBC)
Note: The numbers of vacancies are indicative and the government may increase or decrease the number of vacancies)
Pay Scale: Rs. 27700 – Rs.44770 (Other facilities as per rules will be applicable to selected candidates)
Min Academic Requirement:
- The candidate must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University or Institute from the state/ central Government
- The candidate must have basic knowledge of Hindi (Read, Write and Speak)
- The candidate must have basic knowledge of computers
Age criteria:
- The aspirants must fall within the age group of 22- 35 years as on 1st of January 2012 to be eligible to apply.
- The candidates belonging to scheduled category will be eligible for relaxation in upper age limit as intimated by the Government of Uttarakhand.
Important dates:
- Opening date for acceptance of application: 15th of July 2012
- Closing date for acceptance of application: 16th of August 2012
- Date for remittance of application fees: After the opening date and before the closing date of application
Important Note:
- The candidates are requested to keep a copy of OMR application for future reference
- The candidate must have attained all eligibility conditions (age, relaxation, academics, etc.) prior to submission of application
- The academics mentioned by the candidate must supported by authentic certification from competent authorities
Application Fees:
- For preliminary examination for Unreserved Category: Rs.220 (including the OMR application and postal charges)
- For all applicants under special consideration: Rs. 130
Note:
The candidates have to remit the application fees for the Main examination separately as per the rules only if they are scrutinized as eligible for main examination
How to apply:
- The OMR Application forms are available at some selected post offices of Uttarakhand.
- The candidates can obtain application form for preliminary examination from the post offices
- The candidates are requested to go through the complete details of filling up OMR application form as per the instructions available at the website at //ukpsc.gov.in/files/PCS%28JD%29.pdf
- The candidates are requested to complete the application form in all respect and with authentic data only
- The character remarks are to be filled in competently so as to avoid disqualification
- Application form completed in all respect may be sent to the following address so that they reach the address on or before 16th of August 2012 before 6:00 PM
- All applicants have to put their left hand thumb impression invariably in the application form at the space provided
Special Note:
- The decision of the Commission in connection with the selection will be final and binding on the candidates
- Any form of personification or canvassing will be treated as a serious offense
- Candidates offering wrong or misleading information will be subject to disqualification of candidature
