Uranium Corporation of India Limited is a Public Sector Enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy. UCIL is at the forefront of the Nuclear Power cycle. Fulfilling the requirement of Uranium for the Pressurized Heavy Water Reactors, UCIL plays a very significant role in India’s nuclear power generation program.
The UCIL is having its headquarter and registered office at Jaduguda Mines P.O., District East Singhbhum, Jharkhand. Company is engaged in mining & processing of uranium ore and following IDA pattern of pay scales. Presently this company has announced various positions for the Senior cadre of recruitment.

Essential Eligibility:
Upper Age Limit As on 01-March-2013:
E-6 : Max. 50 years
E-5 : Max. 45 years
E-4 : Max. 40 years
E-3 (Addl. Controller of Stores): Max. 35 years
E-3 (Addl. Supdt. -Mines): Max 30 years
E-2 (Deputy Supdt. -Mines): Max 35 years
E-2 (Deputy Manager- Accounts): Max 30 years
However, upper age for reserved category of applicants will be relaxable as per norms.
Education & Experience:
- Dy. General Manager (Mines) – E-6 / Chief Supdt. (Mines) –
Bachelor of Mining Engineering and possessing First Class Mines Manager Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted). Adequate computer knowledge and exposure to latest mining software is essential.
Minimum 15/12 years post qualification working experience in the production line of large mechanized underground metal mines/ mechanized opencast mines having modern mining equipment from leading manufacturers.
The candidate should have proven experience of having led a multidisciplinary team of professionals and consistently achieved rated targets.
Knowledge of mining rules/regulations and dealing with regulatory authorities is essential.
- Chief Manager (Accounts)-E-5/ Manager(Accounts)-E-4 – 1 Position (UR)
Qualified Chartered Accountant from ICAI/ Cost Accountant from the ICAI.
Minimum 12/ 09 years post qualification experience in Accounts Department of a PSU/ large concerns preferably in mining & processing industry. Having exposure in areas like Works Accounting, Project Accounting, Treasury Management, Taxation and finalization of Accounts.
Should have due exposure in dealing with Statutory Authorities/ Government Departments and should have worked in computerized environment with knowledge of ORACLE
- Addl. Controller of Stores- E-3 – 1 Position (OBC-VH) (backlog)
Degree in any branch of Engineering with one year recognized Diploma in Materials Management OR Degree in any discipline with two years recognized PG Degree/ Diploma in Materials Management OR MBA with specialization in Materials Management.
Minimum 09 years of post qualification experience in Stores/Material Handling Department of a large concern.
- Addl. Supdt. (Mines) – E-3/ Dy. Supdt. (Mines) – E-2 – 2 Positions (UR-1, OBC-01)

Selection Procedure:
The selection process involves a process of Interview. Eligible candidates will be called for Interview process and the final selection will be made on the basis of merit performance.
