Uranium Corporation of India Limited is a Public Sector Enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy. UCIL is at the forefront of the Nuclear Power cycle. Fulfilling the requirement of Uranium for the Pressurized Heavy Water Reactors, UCIL plays a very significant role in India’s nuclear power generation program.
The UCIL is having it’s headquarter and registered office at Jaduguda Mines P.O., District East Singhbhum, Jharkhand. Company is engaged in mining & processing of uranium ore and following IDA pattern of pay scales. Presently this company has announced induction of Apprentice Training for candidates who have secured a career in ITI education.

Stipend Pattern:
On the basis of gazette notification the Apprentice Trainees will receive a monthly stipend in the order of Rs.1490, Rs.1700, Rs.1970 & Rs.2220 depending upon the period of training
Upper Age Limit As on 31-March-2013:
The candidates should be within 18-25 years of age as on the scheduled date.
However, upper age for SC, ST, and OBC applicants will be relaxable as per norms.
Education:
The applicant must have passed Matriculation (10th standard) with minimum 50% (45% for SC, ST) marks and must have secured at least 60% in their concerned ITI Trades to be eligible to apply.
Selection Procedure:
The selection process involves a Preliminary Selection on the basis of marks and followed by a process of Interview. Eligible candidates will be called for Interview process and the final selection will be made on the basis of merit performance.
Accommodation:
The applicants are expected to make their own arrangements for stay during the period of Apprenticeship Training

The applications completed in all respect must be enclosed in an envelope along with the following certificates:
a) Matriculation pass Certificate/ mark sheet
b) ITI certificate / Mark sheet
c) Proof of Birth
d) Caste Certificate (For SC, ST, OBC)
e) Character Certificate from the last institution
f) One Self-addressed ‘22 cm X 10 cm’ envelope with Rs.10 postage stamp affixed
