Qualification:
For Assistant Development Officer in Handlooms and Textiles- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University; OR Possess a Diploma in Textile Technology or a Diploma in Handloom Technology issued by the State Board of Technical Education or an equivalent qualification.
For Assistant Section Officer in Finance Department Secretariat- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or Economics or Commerce from any University in India.
For Assistant Section Officer in Law Department Secretariat- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from any University in India.
For All other Positions- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 28 years for Prohibition and Excise Sub Inspector Posts, and 44 years for All other Positions as on 01-July-2016. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per Telangana government rules.

SC, ST, BC, PH, Unemployed applicants in the age group of 18 to 40 years of Telangana State, are exempted from payment of examination fee.
