Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB), Tripura (TRBT) invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Post Graduate Teacher (STPGT) (For Class XI–XII), and Graduate Teacher (STGT) (For Class IX-X).
Post Graduate Teacher (STPGT) (For Class XI–XII): 821 Vacancies in the scale of pay Rs. 5700–24000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-
Graduate Teacher (STGT) (For Class IX-X): 1294 Vacancies in the scale of pay Rs. 5700–24000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/-

Educational Qualification:
Post Graduate Teacher –
Candidates must possess Post Graduate degree with at least 50% marks in relevant subject (or its equivalent) from recognized University and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from NCTE recognised institution.
OR
Post Graduate degree with 45% marks in relevant subject and obtained B.Ed degree from NCTE recognized institutions.
OR
Post Graduate degree in relevant subject with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized university and B.A. Ed./ B.Sc. Ed. from any NCTE recognised institution.
Graduate Teacher –
Candidates must possess Graduate/Post Graduate from recognized University with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from National Council for Teacher Education recognised institution.
OR
Four Years degree of B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed from National Council for Teacher Education recognised institution.
Upper Age Limit: 40 years as on 9th September 2016. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.
Application Fee:
Rs.200/- for reserved category (SC/ST/PH) candidates
Rs.300/- for Unreserved Category Candidates
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee in cash in any branch of State Bank of India through system generated challan in favour of Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura.
Selection process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Mark obtained in “Selection Test for Post Graduate Teachers/ Graduate Teachers -Session-2016” subject to verification of certificates and correctness of information given by the candidates in the online application form.
