Qualification: Candidates must possess B.Sc./ B.A./ B.Com. of any University or institution recognized by the UGC. Candidates should possess adequate knowledge of Tamil on the date of notification of advertisement.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years as on 01-July-2016. There is no upper age limit for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars), Scheduled Tribes, Most Backward Classes/ Denotified Communities, Backward Classes, Backward Classes (Muslims) and Destitute Widows of all castes.
Examination Fee: Examination Fee Rs.100/- + Application Fee Rs. 50/-
Candidates have to register their basic particulars through One-Time Registration which is mandatory on payment of Rs.50/- towards registration fee. The registration shall be valid for a period of five years from the date of one-time registration.
Candidates who have already registered in the one time registration system and paid the registration fee of Rs.50/- and received the registration ID need not pay the application fee. It is enough to pay the Examination Fee of Rs.100/- alone.
Note: One time registration is only to avail exemption for application fee for a period of five years from the date of registration. Concession in examination fee applicable as per rules.
