Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test and Oral Test. The selected candidates will be posted either in Principal Seat at Madras or at Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court, Madurai; or at Tamil Nadu State Judicial Academy, Chennai or Regional Centres of Tamil Nadu State Judicial Academy at Madurai or Coimbatore.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Bachelor Degree in Science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Medicine, or any other discipline of a recognised University in Indian Union, in 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern.
Personal Assistant, Personal Clerk, Typist- Candidates must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Shorthand and Typewriting in English – Higher Grade; and have the Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education.
Computer Operator: Candidates should have diploma in Computer Applications from any recognised University or any Institute recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education and Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting in English and Tamil by Higher/ Senior Grade.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 and Maximum 30 years as on 01-July-2016. For candidates belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs (OBCM)s, BCMs and DWs of all castes and for all other category candidates maximum age limit is 35 Years.
Pay Scale-
Personal Assistant to the Hon’ble Judges: Rs. 15600-39100/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/-
Personal Assistant to the Registrars: Rs. 9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/-
Personal Clerk to the Deputy Registrars: Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/- plus Special Pay
Computer Operator: Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/-
Typist, Reader/ Examiner, Cashier: Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 2400/-
Xerox Operator: Rs. 4800-10000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 1650/-
One Time Registration Fee: Rs. 50/-
Candidates have to Register their basic particulars through One Time Registration which is mandatory on payment of Rs.50/- towards registration fee.
Examination Fee: Rs.100/-
Candidates have to pay application fee through Online mode. SC/ ST/ Differently Abled Persons are exempted from payment of examination fee.
