TNPSC [Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission] invited online applications for direct recruitment of the post of Maternal and Child Health Officer, in Tamil Nadu Public Health Service. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written exam held at Chennai, Coimbatore and Madurai Centre; followed by oral test. Selected candidates will get the scale of pay Rs. 9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 4700/-.
Candidates are suggested to apply online well before the last date for submission of application, that is August 20, 2015. Candidates may pay the application fee through Bank or Post Office till August 22, 2015.
Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission will conduct the examination as on September 20, 2015.
Candidates should possess Bachlor’s Degree in Nursing or Public Health Nurse, and must have a Certifcate of registration in section I-A or I-B of the Register of Nurses under the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Act, 1926 (Tamil Nadu Act III of 1926), and a Certifcate of registration in section I-C of the register of Midwives under the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Act 1926 (Tamil Nadu Act III of 1926). Candidates should posses adequate knowledge of Tamil.
Candidates should not have completed 30 years of age as on 01-July-2015 for all category candidates except SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs BCM and DWs of all Castes. There is no upper age limit for candidates belongs to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs BCM and DWs of all Castes.
Examination/ Application Fee:
Candidates can pay the fee Rs. 175/- (Examination Fee Rs.125/- + Cost of Application Rs.50/-) through online mode by using net banking, debit/ credit cards or may also pay through Post Office or Indian Bank by system generated Fee Payment Challan. Those candidates who have already done one time registration by paying Rs.50/- should be exempted from paying Application Fee.
