Levels of getting recruited into a career in teaching are:
Primary teaching level is obtained with the qualification of a Bachelor in Education degree or diploma in education, usually after the 10+2 level.
For the secondary and senior secondary school teachers, people need to apply for bachelor of education after their graduation degrees which are known as the Trained Graduate Teachers orTGT. For those aspirants of teaching jobs, who have finished their post graduation can go for the bachelor of education which is known as the Post Graduate Trained Teachers or PGTT.
College or university level lectureship or professorship is possible to be obtained by the passing of National Eligibility Test conducted by UGC-CSIR so that the candidates who score good marks can go for lectureship in government colleges in the country.
