Tamil Nadu Forest Uniformed Services Recruitment Committee, Chennai, invites application from eligible candidates for recruitment of Forester, and Field Assistant in Tamil Nadu Forest Department, Tamil Nadu Forest Plantation Corporation Limited, and Arasu Rubber Corporation Limited.
To fill up 181 vacancies for the post of Forester / Field Assistant in Forest Department, ARC, TAFCORN for which written examination was held on 22.02.2015 at 6 Centres viz., Chennai, Coimbatore, Salem. Tiruchi, Madurai and Tirunelveli and 35,673 candidates participated.
906 candidates were enlisted for Physical Verification, Walking test. The physical verification and walking test was conducted at the Tamil Nadu Forest Academy, Coimbatore from 05.01.2017 to 09.01.2017.
Out of the 906 candidates, 555 candidates were selected for the Oral Test. The Oral Test has been fixed to be conducted from 14.02.2017 to 17.02.2017 at Joint Forest Management Centre, Velachery. After completion of the Oral Test, 181 candidates will be selected for the post of Forester/ Field Assistant.

Mode of Selection: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test, walking test, physical standards verification, and personality test.
