Details of Job Positions:
- CATEGORY No. SR-01 – Library & Information Assistant (German) in National Library, Kolkata
Vacancy: 01–SC (This post identified as suitable for PWD categories)
Pay Scale: Rs.9300 – Rs.34800 with GP of Rs. 4200 (PB-II)
Age Limit: Ideally should be in between 18-28 years (additional relaxation of 5 years for SC in upper age) as on the last date of submission of application
Academics:
A Bachelor’s degree and a degree in Library Science from a recognized University. The applicant must have proficiency in German language at Matriculation or equivalent level
Job Location: National Library, Kolkata with AISL
- Cat.No.SR-B-1 – Investigator Grade-II in Labour Bureau, Ministry of Labour & Employment
Vacancy: 01–SC (Identified as not-suitable for PWD)
Pay Scale: Rs.9300 – Rs.34800 with GP of Rs. 4600 (PB-II)
Age Limit: Ideally should not exceed 31 years as on the last date of submission of this application for SC candidates
Academics:
Bachelor’s degree with Statistics/ Mathematics/ Economics/ Commerce as one of the subjects from any recognized University or equivalent. The applicant must have familiarity with computer and ability to operate various software for statistical analysis preferably with certificate of basic/ fundamental course in computer applications.
Master’s degree in Statistics or Mathematics or Economics or Commerce along with Two years experience in collection, compilation and analysis of data in any recognized organization is desirable.

- Cat.No.SR-B-2 – Assistant Epigraphist (Dravidian Inscriptions) in Archaeological Survey of India(ASI)
Vacancy: 02 (only for UR, suitable for PWD)
Pay Scale: Rs.9300 – Rs.34800 with GP of Rs. 4200 (PB-II)
Age Limit: Ideally should not exceed 30 years as on the last date of submission of application (Relaxable for 5 years for Govt. Employees as per norms)
Academics:
Master’s degree in Tamil/ Malayalam/ Telugu/ Kannada with Ancient Indian History as a subject at Bachelor’s degree level OR, Master’s degree in History with Ancient Indian History as a subject and Tamil/ Malayalam/ Telugu/ Kannada as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level Or, equivalent. Post Graduate Diploma in Archaeology/ Epigraphy from the Institute of Archaeology, Archaeological survey of India or from a recognized university or equivalent is desirable.

Academics:
Must have A Degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy or Microbiology or Bio-Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry or equivalent.
Job Location: Chennai with AISL
Application fees: Rs.50 only. The SC, ST, Ex-SM, Women candidates applying for the post are exempted from paying any fees
Application Fees:
The application fee of Rs.50 (Rupees Fifty Only) need to paid through the Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. No other mode of payment will be entertained. The CRFS will be available at any postal counters in India.
Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Women/ PWD and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from paying any fees. However, those ex-servicemen who have availed such benefit of fees exemption for any Govt. jobs prior to this will have to pay the fees.
Selection Procedure:
- Preliminary Selection on the basis of credentials
- Screening Test (as per the SSC)
- Interview/ Personality Test
Documents to be attached along with the application:
a) Central Recruitment Fee Stamps of Rs.50 affixed and clearly cancelled on the application form.
b) One recent passport size photograph to be pasted on the application
c) One self-addressed postcard duly affixed with an additional Rs.6 postage stamp
d) Two self-addressed envelopes of 10 cms x 22 cms size, one of which should be affixed with postage stamps worth Rs.8.
e) Documents in support of claim of SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-S.
f) Attested copies of certificates
