Staff Selection Commission invites online applications for the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2015 for filling up different categories of posts in various Ministries/ Departments/ Organisations.
With the recent announcement, the SSC is going to conduct the Combined Graduate Level Examination for Group B and Group C category of posts under various Ministries/ Departments/ Organisations. This exam is conducted in three phases namely Tier I (Written Examination), Tier II (Main Written Examination) and Tier III (Interview/ Personality Test/ Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable)/ Document Verification). Tier I is common for all candidates opting for different posts. The application will remain provisional throughout the Tier-I and Tier-II examination, and will be final only upon the declaration of examination results by the SSC. For appointment preference for Ministry/ Department/ Office will be taken from the candidates qualified at the time of Interview/ Skill Test/ Typing Test.

Education Qualification:
- Compiler: Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective subject.
- Statistical Investigator Grade–II: Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as one of the main subjects OR, Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics ( with Statistics as a papers studied in one year/two years/all three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects OR, Bachelor’s Degree with Economics ( with Statistics as a paper studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects, OR, Bachelor’s Degree with Commerce (with Statistics as a paper studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects.
- For all other Posts: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- Candidates who have not acquired/will not acquire the educational qualification as on 01-Jan-2014 will not be eligible and need not apply.
- For posts of Assistants (CSS), Computer Proficiency has also been prescribed as an Essential Qualification.
- Candidates have to produce the relevant certificates with respect to the required technical and Skills as per the detailed notification.

Mode of Selection: The Examination will be conducted in 3 tiers as indicated below:
- Tier-I: Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
- Tier-II: Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
- Tier-III: Personality Test cum Interview/Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable)/ Document Verification & Descriptive/ online test of qualifying nature.
Note:
- Answer Sheets for Written Exam will be OMR in nature.
- Pas of physical fitness may be required for certain posts as per the government guidelines.
- For typing skill test an average speed of 8000 key depressions per minute is required.
Application fee:
- Unreserved (General) & OBC: Rs. 100 only
- Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, PWD, Women & Ex-Servicemen: Fees exempted
- The fee can be deposited through the Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) or through SBI NET-BANKING. Any other mode of payment will not be accepted.
Mode of Application/ How to Apply:
- Both Online as well as Offline application are accepted for CGE .
- Online mode: The candidates can log in to the web portal of SSC at //ssconline.nic.in and//ssconline2.gov.in to apply. The candidates are not required to submit the print copy of application to the commission at this time.
- Offline mode: The candidates need to submit the completed application along with photocopies of their credentials with the regional/ sub-regional offices of SSC.
