01/SPSC/EXAM/2019 Sikkim Public Service Commission invites applications from eligible local candidates (Male & Female) through Direct Recruitment for the posts of Staff Nurse on temporary regular basis in the Sikkim Subordinate Nursing Service under Health Care, Human Service and Family Welfare Department, Government of Sikkim. Candidates Should have valid Local Employment Card.
Name of the Positions along with Number of Vacancies Advertised: Staff Nurse- 200 Vacancies
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination. Those candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for the scrutiny of documents before the conduct of viva-voce/ interview.

Educational Qualification Criteria: Candidates must have passed Intermediate/ 10+2 exam from a recognised board.
Candidates must possess Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from any recognized Nursing Institute or any higher nursing education and registered with the Sikkim Nursing Council or any State Nursing Council approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Age Limit: Candidates Should have attained the age of 18 years, and should not have exceeded 40 years of age as on 31st December, 2018. Relaxation in upper age limit as per rules.
Pay scale: Rs. 9300-34800/- (Pay Band-2) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-
