This company is a result of merging nine units including four mints, four presses and one paper mill which was earlier working under the Ministry of Finance. Headquarter of this company is located in Jawahar Vyapar Bhawan, New Delhi. Major involvement of SPMCIL is in the production of security paper, minting of coins, printing of currency, non-judicial stamps and many more things.
