South East Central Railway, RRC Bilaspur, invites application from the eligible and meritorious Scouts & Guides candidate for two posts over south east central railway, in PB-1, Rs.5200-20200 + GP-1900/ 2000, and six posts (two posts each for Bilaspur, Nagpur, and Raipur Divisions) in PB-1, Rs.5200-20200 + GP-1800; against Scouts & Guides Quota for the year 2016-17.

Educational Qualification:
For PB-1, Rs.5200-20200 + GP-1900/- posts: 12th (10+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate; OR Act Apprenticeship/ ITI. No other qualification including Diploma in Engineering.
For PB-1, Rs.5200-20200 + GP-1800/- posts: 10th pass or ITI or equivalent
Scouts & Guides Qualification:
A President Scout/ Guide/ Rover/ Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any section. Candidates Should have been active member of Scouts Organization for the last five years. Candidates Should have attended two events at National Level or All Indian Railways Level AND two events at State Level.
Age Limit: As on 01-January-2017
PB-1, Rs.5200-20200 + GP-1900: Minimum 18 years and maximum 29 years
PB-1, Rs.5200-20200 + GP-1800: Minimum 18 years and maximum 32 years
However, relaxation in upper age limit applicbale a sper rules.
Selection Process: Written test (objective questions on Scouts & Guides Organization, its activities, General Knowledge and essay type question) of 50 marks, Scouting Skill Assessment of 10 marks, and 40 Marks on certificates.
Examination Fee:
UR/ OBC candidates: Rs.500/-
Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities, Women, Ex-Servicemen, Minorities {Muslim, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and Zoroastrians (Parsis)}, Persons With
Disabilities, and those belonging to economically backward classes: Rs. 250/-
