Scooters India Limited is a premier automobile company and a totally integrated automobile plant, engaged in designing, developing, manufacturing and marketing a broad spectrum of conventional and non-conventional fuel driven 3-wheelers.
In 1975, company started its commercial production of Scooters under the brand name of Vijai Super for domestic market and Lambretta for overseas market. It added one more wheel to its product range and introduced three wheelers under the brand name of VIKRAM/ LAMBRO.

With the recent announcement from the company, the SIL envisages to induct Trainees in Advanced Trade/ Medical Assistant/ Diploma/ HR/ Marketing disciplines. - Advanced Diploma Trainees: 07 posts (In the disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Electronics/ IT/ CS)
- HR/Marketing Assistant Trainees: 02 Posts

Stipendiary Provisions:
- For Advanced Trade Trainees: Rs.4000.00 per month for 1st year, and Rs.4750.00 per month for 2nd year, consolidated
- For Advanced Diploma Trainees: Rs.5000.00 per month for 1st year, and Rs.6000.00 per month for 2nd year, consolidated
- For HR/ Marketing Assistant Trainees: Rs.5000.00 per month for 1st year, and Rs.6000.00 per month for 2nd year, Consolidated
- For Medical Assistant Trainees: Rs.4000.00 per month for 1st year, and Rs.4750.00 per month for 2nd year, consolidated
No other allowances will be applicable for the selected candidates as Trainees
Essential eligibility Conditions:
Age:
- For Advanced Trade Trainees: The candidates applying for these posts must be above 18 years and below 30 years as on 01-July-2013
- For Advanced Diploma Trainees: The candidates applying for these posts must be above 18 years and below 32 years as on 01-July-2013
- For HR/ Marketing Assistant Trainees: The candidates applying for these posts must be above 18 years and below 32 years as on 01-July-2013
- For Medical Assistant Trainees: The candidates applying for these posts must be above 18 years and below 30 years as on 01-July-2013
Note: However, the relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable as per the rules. The relaxation in upper age limit is cumulative as per Govt. of India guidelines.
Academics:
- For Advanced Trade Trainees: The candidates applying for these posts must have completed ITI in requisite Trades with completion of Trade Apprenticeship
- For Advanced Diploma Trainees: The candidates applying for these posts must have completed Diploma in Concerned branches of Engineering from a recognized Board of Technical Education.
- For HR/ Marketing Assistant Trainees: The candidates applying for these posts must have completed BBA or equivalent to be eligible
- For Medical Assistant Trainees: The candidates applying for these posts must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination and undergone a course of instructions in First Aid from a recognized institution

- For Advanced Diploma Trainees and HR/ Marketing Assistant Trainees: Rs.100
- For SC/ST/PWD and Female Candidates: Fees exempted
- The fee can be deposited in shape of a Crossed Demand Draft in favour of “SCOOTERS INDIA LIMITED” and should be payable at Lucknow
Selection Procedure:
- The selection of candidates will be done through a Personal Interview.
- The Scooter India Limited may lay down norms for short-listing candidates for Personal Interview
- The Personal Interview will be held at the Lucknow and the address of the venue will be advised in the call letters
- Only those candidates selected on the basis of merit will be allowed for recruitment
