Bokaro Steel Plant, Steel Authority of India Limited, has invited online applications for filling up competent positions for Non-Executive Cadre positions for Bokaro Steel Plant.
Attendant cum Technician Trainee (Grade- S-1): 85 Vacancies
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Computer Based examination. The test will comprise of a total 100 questions (General Awareness- 40 Questions, Logical Reasoning- 30 Questions, Quantitative Aptitude- 40 Questions).
Candidates who qualify in the Computer Based examination will be called for Skill Test / Trade Test.
Selected candidates will be placed on training for a period of two years followed by one year of probation. On successful completion of training period, they shall be regularized in their initial Grade at the minimum basic pay of their respective grades.

Eligibility Criteria: Qualification
Matriculation and completion of apprenticeship training of minimum one year duration in designated trade from an integrated steel plant and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by National Council for Vocational Training.
Upper Age Limit: 28 years as on 01-May-2023. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale: ₹25,070/-3%-₹35,070/-
Note: Candidates selected for post of Attendant-cum-Technician Trainee, will be paid consolidated Pay of ₹ 12,900/-pm during 1st year of training and ₹ 15,000/-pm during the 2nd year of training.

Bokaro Steel Plant, Steel Authority of India Limited, has invited online applications for filling up competent positions for Executive Cadre and Non-Executive Cadre positions for Bokaro Steel Plant (including its captive mines located in Jharkhand State in Kiriburu, Megha-hatuburu, Gua & Manoharpur), SAIL Refractory unit and SAIL Collieries Division. Candidates will be selected on the basis of Computer-Based Examination/ Skill Test/ Trade Test/ Interview/ Physical Ability Test/ Driving Test depending on the nature of the position.

Mining Foreman (Grade- S-3): 09 Vacancies
Matriculation with 03 years full time Diploma in Mining from a Govt. recognized Institute with valid Mines Foreman Certificate of Competency from DGMS. Candidates must have one year post qualification Experience in relevant field (after obtaining Mines’ Foreman Certificate of competency).
Surveyor (Grade- S-3): 06 Vacancies
Matriculation with 03 years full time Diploma in Mining or Diploma in Mining & Mines’ Survey from a Govt. recognized institute and possessing valid Mines Surveyor’s certificate of Competency from DGMS. Candidates must have one year post qualification experience in relevant field (after obtaining Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency.)
Mining Mate (Grade- S-1): 20 Vacancies
Matriculation with valid Mining Mate Certificate of Competency from DGMS. Candidates must have one year post qualification experience in relevant field (after obtaining Mining Mate’s Certificate.)
Attendant cum – Technician Trainee HMV (Grade- S-1): 34 Vacancies
Matriculation with valid Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving License or equivalent to operate Heavy Earth moving/ Mining Equipment. Candidates must have one year post qualification experience in relevant field.
Mining Sirdar (Grade- S-1): 50 Vacancies
Matriculation from a Government recognized institute with Mining Sirdar’s certificate of competency from
DGMS under CMR along with valid Gas Testing and First Aid Certificates. Candidates must have one year post qualification experience in relevant field (after obtaining Mining Sirdar’s certificate of competency).
