Central Railway, Mumbai invites Applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Level 2 and Level 1 posts in Headquarter and divisions of Central Railway against Scout and Guide Quota for the year 2017-18.

02 Posts in Level 2, Rs. 19900-63200/-; 10 Posts (02 Posts each in Mumbai, Bhusawal, Nagpur, Pune, and Solapur Divisions) in Level 1, Rs. 18000-56900/- for the year 2017-2018 over central railway.

Pay Scale:
Group ‘C’ Post: Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 1900/-
Erstwhile Group ‘D’ Post: Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 1800/-
Qualification:
For Level 2 Post- Candidates must have passed Intermediate/ 12th standard with minimum 50% marks or its equivalent; OR Passed matriculation and completed Act Apprentices; OR Passed matriculation and completed ITI approved by NCVT/ SCVT.
For Level 1 Post- Candidates must have passed matriculation/ 10th standard OR ITI OR National Apprenticeship Certificate granted by NCVT; or equivalent.
Scout & Guide Requirements:
A President’s Scout/ Guide/ Ranger/ Rover (OR) Himalayan Wood Badge Holder in any section.
Should have been an active member of Scouts Organization for the last 05 years.
Should have attended at least Two event at National Level and (OR) All Indian Railway’s Level (AND) Two events at State Level.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 28 Years for Level 2Posts; Minimum 18 years and Maximum 31 Years for Level 1 Posts as on 01-January-2018. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Selection process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test of 50 Marks, Scouting Skill Assessment of 10 Marks, and 40 Marks on certificates. Selected candidates will have to undergo training wherever training is prescribed for the post.
Examination Fee:
Rs. 500/- for General and OBC category candidates
Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST/ Ex- servicemen/ Persons with 40% or above Disabilities (PWDs), Women, Minorities and Economic Backward Classes candidates
The examination fee to be paid through online payment gateway.

During submission of ONLINE application, a Registration ID will be issued to each applicant. Candidates are advised to preserve/note their Registration ID for further stages of recruitment process.
The e-call letter to the eligible candidate (along with e-call letter for scribe, wherever applicable) shall be available about TWO WEEKS before commencement of Written Test on the RRC’s website for downloading. No admit card will be sent to candidate by post.
