Qualification:
Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant- Candidates must have passed 10+2 standard or 12th class from recognized University/ Board of School Education, Board of Secondary Education. Candidates with higher education are also eligible.
Postman/ MTS- Candidates must have passed matriculation from a recognized Board or University. Candidates with higher education are also eligible.
Candidates must have fulfill minimum sports criteria in various disciplines against the sports vacancies in various disciplines as Volleyball, Table Tennis (Women), Athletics (Men/Women), Chess, Badminton, Cricket, Kabaddi (Women).
Sports Qualification- Sportsmen who have represented a State or the country in the National or International competition in the sports/games. Sportsmen who have represented their university in the inter university tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Board in the sports/games. Sportsmen who have represented the state schools team in the National Sports/Games for schools conducted by the All India School Games Federation in the sports/games. Sportsmen who have been awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency under the National Physical Efficiency Drive.

Postal/Sorting Assistant: Rs. 5200-20200 (Pay Band-1) + Grade pay of Rs.2400/- plus admissible allowances
Postman: Rs. 5200-20200 (Pay Band-1) + Grade pay of Rs.2000/- plus admissible allowances
MTS: Rs. 5200-20200 (Pay Band-1) + Grade pay of Rs.1800/- plus admissible allowances
