Punjab State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited Recruitment 2014 for 285 Various Openings

Punjab State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited (better known as PUNSUP) is a fully state-owned organization formed to take care of food securities of the state. Operating with the main objective of uplifting the farming community by procuring their produce on Minimum Support Price (MSP) fixed by the Government of India, the PUNSUP also provides food-grains & other essential commodities to the weaker section of the society on subsidized rates under Public Distribution System (PDS).

With the recent announcement from the PUNSUP, there are vacancies in various profiles. Total 285 vacancies notified with this advertisement ranging from senior profiles of DGM to clerical profiles of Steno-Typist.

The details of the eligibility criteria and the other essentials for application are detailed as under.

  4. Manager (Human Resources): 01 Post (Gen)

  6. 6.    Deputy District Manager (Field): 05 Posts (Gen-02, BC-01, PWD-01, Sportman-Gen-01)
  7. 7.    Programmer: 01 Post (Gen)
  8. 8.    Senior Auditor: 05 Posts (Gen-03, PWD-01, Ex-SM-Gen-01)

12. Inspector Grade-I: 13 Posts (Gen-05, SC-Balmiki-02, SC-01, BC-01, Ex-SM-03, Sportsperson-01)

13. Inspector Grade-II: 159 Posts (Gen-75, SC-Balmiki-15, SC-15, BC-14, PWD-06, Ex-SM-28, Sportsperson-05, Freedom Fighter Dependant-01)

14. Steno-Typist: 11 Posts (Gen-05, SC-Balmiki-02, SC-01, BC-01, Ex-SM-01)

Pay Scale Provisions:

  • For the post mentioned at Sr.No.1: The selected applicants will be eligible for an initial Pay Scale in PB-III with Rs.15600 – Rs.39100 and a Grade Pay of Rs.7800. The Initial Pay will be around Rs.31520 per month at the time of joining.
  • For the post mentioned at Sr.No.2: The selected applicants will be eligible for an initial Pay Scale in PB-III with Rs.15600 – Rs.39100 and a Grade Pay of Rs.5400. The Initial Pay will be around Rs.21000 per month at the time of joining.
  • For the posts mentioned at Sr.No.3 to 8: The selected applicants will be eligible for an initial Pay Scale in PB-II with Rs.10300 – Rs.34800 and a Grade Pay of Rs.4800. The Initial Pay will be around Rs.18250 per month at the time of joining.
  • For the posts mentioned at Sr.No.9 to 11: The selected applicants will be eligible for an initial Pay Scale in PB-II with Rs.10300 – Rs.34800 and a Grade Pay of Rs.4400. The Initial Pay will be around Rs.17420 per month at the time of joining.
  • For the post mentioned at Sr.No.12: The selected applicants will be eligible for an initial Pay Scale in PB-II with Rs.10300 – Rs.34800 and a Grade Pay of Rs.4200. The Initial Pay will be around Rs.16290 per month at the time of joining.
  • For the post mentioned at Sr.No.13: The selected applicants will be eligible for an initial Pay Scale in PB-II with Rs.10300 – Rs.34800 and a Grade Pay of Rs.3600. The Initial Pay will be around Rs.14430 per month at the time of joining.
  • For the post mentioned at Sr.No.14: The selected applicants will be eligible for an initial Pay Scale in PB-II with Rs.10300 – Rs.34800 and a Grade Pay of Rs.3200. The Initial Pay will be around Rs.13500 per month at the time of joining.
  • The candidates will also be eligible to receive other perks and remunerations from the PUNSUP as per rules.

Academic Eligibility Norms:

  • Deputy General Manager (Finance & Accounts): The Candidates should have completed MBA/M.Com with at least 50% marks OR, Chartered Accountant/Costs and Works Accountant with minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience in Managerial Capacity in Finance & Accounts in a Commercial Organization.
  • District Manager: The Candidates should have completed Post Graduate Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks.
  • Deputy District Manager (Accounts): The Candidates should have completed MBA (Finance)/ C.A./ ICWA/ M.Com./ MFC with minimum 50% marks with minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in Managerial Capacity in Finance & Accounts in a Commercial Organization.
  • Manager (Human Resources): The Candidates should have completed MBA (H.R./Administration) with at least 50% marks.
  • Manager (Information Technology): The Candidates should have completed M.Tech./ M.Sc. (Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information and Technology) / MCA with at least 50% marks.
  • Deputy District Manager (Field): The Candidates should have completed Post Graduate Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks.
  • Programmer: The Candidates should have completed Bachelors Degree in Engineering OR, Post Graduation in Science/Mathematics etc. Or, Post Graduation in Computer Application.
  • Senior Auditor: The Candidates should have completed MBA (Finance)/ C.A./ ICWA/ M.Com./ MFC with minimum 50% marks with minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in Managerial Capacity in Finance & Accounts in a Commercial Organization.
  • Field Officer: The Candidates should have completed Post Graduate Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks.
  • Senior Assistant (Accounts): The Candidates should have completed B.Com Degree from a recognized University.
  • Senior Assistant: The Candidates should have completed Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized University.
  • Inspector Grade-I: The Candidates should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University.
  • Inspector Grade-II: The Candidates should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University.
  • Steno-Typist: The Candidates should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University. The candidate should have proficiency in Punjabi Stenography at a speed of 80 w.p.m and to transcribe at a speed of 15 w.p.m.

NOTE:

  • For all posts mentioned above, the candidates should have passed examination of Punjabi language up to Matriculation standard and should have passed a 120 hours course of Computers (exempted for the post of DGM

Surety Bond:

  • The Candidates have to sign a Surety bond with PUNSUP to serve and not leave until the expiry of five years after the date of joining.
  • The Surety bond shall be for an amount of Rs.200000 (Rupees Two lakhs only), valid for five years to be submitted (in prescribed format) before joining the organization

Age Criteria:

  • The applicant should be within 18 years and 38 years of age as on 31-July-2014
  • However, for Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ BC/ PWD/ Ex-Sm will enjoy relaxation in accordance with the PUNSUP norm

  • For General Category: Rs.800
  • For all others candidates: Rs.400
  • The fees can be deposited in any branch of State Bank of Patiala through the system generated fee payment challan only as available at the website of PUNSUP at  //punsup.applyforexam.com/

Mode of Selection:

  • The selection of candidates will be done primarily through a Written Examination only.
  • However for the post of DGM (Finance and Accounts) and District Manager, the selection will be done through a Written Examination and Interview.
  • No candidate shall be considered to have qualified the competitive examination unless he/she obtains 45% marks (40% for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes)
  • The candidates will be selected on the basis of merit ranking status only
