Punjab Police invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Sub-Inspector (Operator) in the Information Technology and Telecommunication Wing of Punjab Police.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess BCA or B.Sc. (IT) or B.E./ B.Tech or Graduate in any discipline with ‘A’ level computer course.
Candidates must have fulfill minimum physical standards.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 28 years as on 01-January-2016. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Pay Scale: Rs. 10300-34800/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/-
Rs. 100/- for SC/ ST/ BC category candidates
Rs. 400/- for General Category candidates
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee through online mode by using Net Banking/ Credit/ Debit card; or off Line mode in shape of challan in HDFC Bank counter or Punjab Police Saanjh Kendras. Ex Serviceman candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Measurement Test, Medical Examination, Written Test of 100 Marks, and Interview of 5 marks.
