Department of Irrigation, Government of Punjab invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Sub-Divisional Engineer. Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of three years. On successful completion of probation period, pay of an employee shall be fixed at minimum of the pay band of the post including grade pay.
Sub-Divisional Engineer: 100 Vacancies (Civil- 90 Posts, Mechanical- 10 Posts)
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/-

Educational Qualification- Candidates must possess bachelor’s degree in Civil/ Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or institution. candidate should have passed Punjabi upto Matric or its equivalent level.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 37 years as on 01-January-2016. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per Punjab Government rules.
Selection Process- Selection will be made on the basis of Written test.
Application Fee: Candidates belonging to General have to pay Rs. 800/- &
Rs. 400/- for SC/ BC/ PHC/ Ex-Serviceman of Punjab State
Rs. 800/- for Candidates belonging to General category
