The appointments for these posts will be made at Haryana State Legal Services Authority (HSLSA) at Chandigarh, District Legal Services Authorities (DLSA), Sub-Divisional Legal Services Committees (SDLSC) and Permanent Lok Adalats (Public Utility Services) {PLA(PUS)} in the State of Haryana.

- Junior-Scale Stenographer: 29 Posts (DLSA)

NOTE: Reservation for appropriate categories will be applicable as per norms.
Pay Scale and Remunerations:
- Clerk: The selected candidates will be eligible for a scale pay in the range of Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 + grade Pay of Rs. 1900 in PB-I in addition to other allowances as admissible. The starting emolument will be approximately Rs.7580 per month.
- Junior-Scale Stenographer: The selected candidates will be eligible for a scale pay in the range of Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 + grade Pay of Rs. 2400 in PB-I in addition to other allowances as admissible. The starting emolument will be approximately Rs.9840 per month.
- Steno-Typist: The selected candidates will be eligible for a scale pay in the range of Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 + grade Pay of Rs. 1900 in PB-I in addition to other allowances as admissible. The starting emolument will be approximately Rs.7580 per month.
- Driver: The selected candidates will be eligible for a scale pay in the range of Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 + grade Pay of Rs. 2400 in PB-I in addition to other allowances as admissible. The starting emolument will be approximately Rs.9840 per month.
Academics:
- Clerk: The applicant should possess a Bachelor Degree (Graduation) with Degree/ Diploma in Computer Application (minimum 6 months duration and equivalent to O level certification as conferred by DOEACC). He should have passed Matriculation with Hindi/ Sanskrit as subjects in Matriculation level. Preference will the given to candidates having higher qualification.
- Junior-Scale Stenographer: The applicant should possess a Bachelor Degree (Graduation) with Degree/ Diploma in Computer Application (minimum 6 months duration and equivalent to O level certification as conferred by DOEACC). He should have at least 1 year experience as Steno-Typist.
- Steno-Typist: The applicant should possess a Bachelor Degree (Graduation) with Degree/ Diploma in Computer Application (minimum 6 months duration and equivalent to O level certification as conferred by DOEACC).
- Driver: The applicant should have completed Matriculation with Hindi as one of the subject. He must possess a valid Driving License for Light Motor Vehicle and Medium Passenger Motor Vehicle and should have at least 2 years of Driving Experience. He should not have been convicted with any offense related to driving.
Typing Skills:
- The positions for which a test of typewriting is required, the candidates must have typing speed of 30 words per minute either on computer or on manual type writer or on electronic type writer.
Age Requirement:
- Minimum age for all: 18 years
- Maximum age for General: 40 years
- There will be relaxation in upper age limit as per norms
- NOTE: Age will be reckoned on 26-June-2014
Application Fees:
- For General category Male candidates and reserved category from other states except Haryana: Rs.500 (Rupees Five Hundred only)
- For General category Female candidates and reserved category from other states except Haryana: Rs.250 (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty only)
- The fees once paid will not be refunded back under any circumstances
- The applicants have to deposit the requisite fee by way of “Cash Deposit Receipt”, printed after completion of Step-I of registration, in any Branch of State Bank of India only.
- The “Cash Deposit Receipt” will contain the amount of fee to be deposited by the applicant, depending upon his/her category
- Applicant approaching the State Bank of India Branch will ask for depositing the fee under Screen 8888 (Fee Type-300).
- No other mode of payment of fee is admissible
Selection Procedure:
The selection will be conducted in two phases:
- Written Test:
- Skill test (Computer test/ Typing-Shorthand Test)
- Viva-Voice: The selection for Viva-Voice test will be conducted on the basis of written examination

The online registration/filling of application forms by the applicants will consist of two steps.
1. Registration Step I:
Applicant will get his Registration ID and Password and will print ‘Cash Deposit Receipt’ for deposit of Fee in the designated bank (State Bank of India)
The applicant who completes Registration Step-I, should go to Bank for deposit of fee only after 4 hours from the time of the Registration Step-I.
2. Registration Step II:
Applicant to fill the remaining particulars, fee payment details in the form, then to “LOCK & SUBMIT” the application form
Any application without proper photograph and signature upload will be summarily rejected.
The applicant must check the information thoroughly before locking and submitting the same.
Date of Examination:
