Nativity: Candidates should have been born in the Union Territory of Puducherry and should have been ordinarily residing within the Union Territory prior to the date of application; or have been residing continuously for five years in the Union Territory prior to the date of application.
Qualification: Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary School or its equivalent with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate. Candidates should have Diploma in Teacher Education or Certificate in Basic Teacher’s Training of duration of not less than two years duration, and have studied the Regional language (Malayalam) as one of the subjects up to Secondary level.
Candidates must have qualified and have obtained the minimum qualifying marks in KERALA TET/ CTET; as 60% marks for general category candidates, 55% marks for OBC category candidates, 50% marks for SC/ ST category candidates; in order to get eligible.
