Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-
Qualification: Candidates must possess First class Bachelor’s Degree/ Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering. Candidates must have studied Punjabi of Matriculation or its equivalent Standard.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 37 years as on 01-January-2016. Relaxation in upper age limit applicable for candidates belongs to Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes of Punjab, Ex-servicemen of Punjab, Physically Handicapped of Punjab, Widows, Divorcees and certain other Categories of Women, and all States/ Central Government employees as per rules.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Competitive Exam (Objective Type) of 300 marks, and Interview of 40 marks.
Application and Examination Fees:
For Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes of all States and Backward Classes of Punjab State only: Rs. 1125/-
For Ex-Servicemen of Punjab state only: Rs. 500/-
For Physically Handicapped, Punjab State only: Rs. 1750/-
For All Others Categories (including Lineal Descendent of Ex-servicemen, Punjab): Rs. 3000/-
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee in form of system generated Fee Challan Form, through any Branch of State Bank of Patiala only.
