POWERGRID, Odisha Projects, invites application from eligible experienced candidates for recruitment of Field Engineer/ Field Supervisor in disciplines of Electrical, Civil, and Telecom on temporary & contract basis for a period of two years or till completion of extended period or completion of project; for new Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY) projects assigned by REC in 15 districts of Odisha & National Optical Fibre Network (NOFN) Works in 30 Districts.
Candidates applying for more than one post should apply separately for each post.

Upper Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 29 years as on 25-February-2015
Educational Qualification:
- Field Engineer – Electrical: Candidate should have completed BE/ B.Tech./ B.Sc. Engineering/ BE (Power Engineering) / AMIE in Electrical Discipline with minimum 60% of marks and have minimum one year post qualification experience.
- Field Supervisor – Electrical: Candidate should have completed Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized Board/ institute with minimum 60% of marks, and have minimum one year post qualification experience.
- Field Supervisor – Civil: Candidate should have completed Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized Board/ institute with minimum 60% of marks, and have minimum one year post qualification experience.
- Field Engineer – Telecom: Candidate should have completed B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc.(Engg.)/AMIE in Electronics and Communication discipline from recognized University/ Institute with minimum 60 % marks, and have minimum one year post qualification experience.
- Field Supervisor – Telecom: Candidate should have completed Diploma Engineering in Electronics and Communication Discipline from recognized technical Board/Institute with minimum 60% marks, and have minimum one year post qualification experience.
Remuneration:
- Field Engineer (Electrical, Civil, Telecom): 1st year: Rs. 30000/-per month; 2nd year: Rs. 33,000/-per month and other benefits as per applicable
- Field Supervisor (Electrical, Civil, Telecom): 1st year: Rs. 23000/-per month; 2nd year: Rs. 25,500/-per month and other benefits as per applicable
Mode of Selection:
Selection will be made on the basis of screening test (If Required) held at Bhubaneswar, followed by Personal Interview.
Application Fee:
Rs. 300/- For Field Engineer Posts
Rs. 200/- For Field Supervisor Posts
Applicants will also have to pay bank charges of Rs. 60/- as additional.
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee in form of bank challan, after two bank working days of generation of challan (Having unique POWERGRID Registration ID), during online registration process. Candidates are suggested to approach any branch of SBI with his challan for depositing the fees.
NOTE: SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-SM candidates are exempted from paying application fee.
