Set up in the year 1986, PFC is dedicated towards Power Sector financing and committed to the integrated development of the power and associated sectors. The Corporation is registered as a Non Banking Financial Company with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The PFC works as a catalyst to bring about institutional improvements in streamlining the functions of its borrowers in financial, technical and managerial areas to ensure optimum utilization of available resources and to mobilize various resources from domestic and international sources at competitive rates.
With the present announcement, the PFC invites competent applications for the positions of Sr. Managers and Officers in Legal and Finance disciplines from the citizens of India.

Details of Eligibility Criteria:
- Age:
- Senior Manager (Legal): Max age 41 years as on 01-January-2013
- Senior Manager (Finance): Max age 41 years as on 01-January-2013
- Officer (Legal): Max age 30 years as on 01-January-2013
- However, relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per company provisions.
- Academics:
- Experience:
- Senior Manager (Legal): The applicant must have completed at least 3 years Degree in Law (LLB) or 5 years integrated Degree in Law with minimum 50% marks.
- Senior Manager (Finance): The applicant must have completed CA/ICWA or BCom with MBA in Finance or PG Diploma in Business Management (specialization in Finance) with minimum 60% marks.
- Officer (Legal): The applicant must have completed at least 3 years Degree in Law (LLB) or 5 years integrated Degree in Law with minimum 50% marks.
- Senior Manager (Legal): The applicant must have Minimum 13 years post qualification experience. Preferably should have experience in Drafting/vetting/execution of legal documents of project financing, carrying out diligence of project/ promoters/contracts/title search of properties. Handling cases in DRT/Civil/Criminal Courts, arbitration proceedings.
- Senior Manager (Finance): The applicant must have Minimum 13 years post qualification experience. Preferably should have experience in NBFC / Bank / Financial Institution / RBI/Power Sector in the areas of Accounts/ Finance/ Taxation/ Budget/ Commercial/ Treasury etc./ project financing.
- Officer (Legal): The applicant must have Min. 2 year post qualification experience. Must have experience in Drafting/vetting/execution of legal documents of project financing, carrying out diligence of project/ promoters/contracts/title search of properties. Handling cases in DRT/Civil/Criminal Courts, arbitration proceedings would be an added advantage.
Selection Procedure:
- The selection of candidates will be done through a procedure involving Written Objective Test and Personal Interview along with Medical Test and Character Antecedent Test as per the rules of the company
- The decision of the Selection Committee will be Final and Binding on the selection
