Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- (Pay Band-1) with Grade Pay of Rs.1800/-
Age Limit:
Minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years as on January 01, 2014 (Note: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ SEBC/ Women candidate and by the total period of service rendered in defence service in case of Ex-Servicemen as per rules.)
Education Qualification:
Candidates must have passed minimum H.S.C/equivalent examination from any Board/Council/University.
Candidates must also have passed Middle School Examination with Odia as a language subject; or passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as medium of examination in non-language subjects; or passed Odia as language subject in the final examination of Class-VII or above; or passed a test in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the School & Mass Education Department.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on basis of Physical standard measurement of 03 Marks, Educational Achievement of 07 Marks, Physical Efficiency test of 30 Marks, and Written Test of 60 Marks.
Examination Fee: Rs. 100/-
SC/ ST category candidates are exempted from paying the examination fee.
Applicants are suggested to pay the examination fee through online mode by logging on to the OSSSC Web Portal, or by the conventional mode of deposit in any Government Treasury.
