Odisha SSC invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Senior Economic Investigator under the Government in Planning & Co-ordination Department. Candidates will be selected on the basis of Preliminary Written Examination of 100 marks, Main Written Examination of 200 marks, Skill Test of 30 marks, Career Assesment of 90 marks, and Viva Voice Test of 30 marks.

Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 32 Years as on 01-January-2015. The upper age limit is relaxable by five years for SC/ ST/ SEBC/ Women candidates, and ten yers for PwD candidates.
Qualification: Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree with Honours or Post Graduate Degree in Economics or Applied Economics or Agriculture Economics or Resource Economics or Commerce or Mathematics, Sociology with Statistics as one of the papers or Geography with Regional Planning as one papers or Statistics with Econometric/ Regional Planning or Business Administration or Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognised University.
Candidates must have passed Odia equivalent to M.E standard.
Examination Fee: Candidates can make the payment of Rs. 100/- through Online/ Offline mode using the Treasury Portal/ by the conventional mode of deposit in the Treasury. SC/ ST/ PWD candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee.
Candidates can make the payment via E-Payment mode through the official portal www.odishatreasury.gov.in; OR by Online mode by using Net Banking or Debit Card. OR
Candidates can also be paid the fee pay through offline mode in form of Challan drawn under the Head of Account “0051-PSC-104-UPSC/SSC-Examination Fees-0047-Fees collected for conducting examinations-02041-Examination Fees” OR through the Conventional mode into the Treasury under the “Head of Account-0051-PSC-104-UPSC/SSC-Examination Fees-0047-Fees collected for conducting examinations-02041-Examination Fees”.
