Essential Eligibility Factors:
Minimum Educational Qualification: The candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce, OR, candidates should have a Degree or Diploma in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management, Labour Welfare, Labour Laws OR, MBA with specialisation in HRD or HRM. Candidates should have passed ME standard in Odia language.
Age: The candidates must have complete 21 years of age but not reached 32 as on 1st January 2015. Age relaxations are according to the rules laid down by the state government. Proof of age is to be reckoned as in the matriculation certificate or school leaving certificate issued by the board.
Examination Fee: Candidates can make the payment of Rs. 100/- through Online/ Offline mode using the Treasury Portal/ by the conventional mode of deposit in the Treasury. SC/ ST/ PWD candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee.
Candidates can make the payment via E-Payment mode through the official portal www.odishatreasury.gov.in; OR by Online mode by using Net Banking or Debit Card. OR
Candidates can also be paid the fee pay through offline mode in form of Challan drawn under the Head of Account “0051-PSC-104-UPSC/SSC-Examination Fees-0047-Fees collected for conducting examinations-02041-Examination Fees” OR through the Conventional mode into the Treasury under the “Head of Account-0051-PSC-104-UPSC/SSC-Examination Fees-0047-Fees collected for conducting examinations-02041-Examination Fees”.
Mode of Examination: There will be one Written Test of 200 marks comprising of language paper of 100 marks and general studies of 100 marks. Viva Voce test will be of 20 marks. Place and date of written examination will be conveyed to the candidates in due course while the admit cards can be obtained from the Commission’s website on the date which will be notified later. The final selection merit list will be published in the official site of the commission, which will be based on the Written Round, the Viva-Voice and Career Assessment Marks.

Candidates need to take printout of two copies of the online application for further references, immediately after submitting the Online Application. Only those candidates who qualify in written examination shall have to submit the duly signed OSSC copy of online submitted application, along with original and self attested copies of required documents/ certificates as mentioned in official advertisement in the office of Commission at the time duly notified.
