Odisha Staff Selection Commission invites online application from eligible candidates for the post of Junior Fisheries Technical Assistant, under the Directorate of Fisheries, Odisha, Cuttak. Candidates must have passed +2 vocational (Fisheries) from CHSE/ University. In case, +2 vocational (Fisheries) candidates are not available, +2 Sciences qualification will be eligible for appointment. So, candidates having +2 Sciences qualification may also apply for this post.

Total Number of Vacancies: 94 Posts [67 Posts for Male candidates and 27 Posts for Female candidates]
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years as on January 01, 2015. The upper age limit is relaxable up to five years for SEBC/ SC/ ST and Women candidates.PWD candidates will get ten years of relaxation in upper age limit.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 1800/-
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on basis of common written examination of 50 marks, followed by Viva- Voce test of 25 marks, and Career Assessment of 25 marks.

For SEBC and Unreserved category candidates: Rs. 100/-
Candidates are suggested to pay the fee through online or Offline mode by using the Treasury portal or by the Conventional mode of deposit in the treasury.
Candidates can make the payment via E-Payment mode through the official portal www.odishatreasury.gov.in; OR by Online mode by using Net Banking or Debit Card. OR
Candidates can also be paid the fee pay through offline mode in form of Challan drawn under the Head of Account “0051-PSC-104-UPSC/SSC-Examination Fees-0047-Fees collected for conducting examinations-02041-Examination Fees” OR through the Conventional mode into the Treasury under the “Head of Account-0051-PSC-104-UPSC/SSC-Examination Fees-0047-Fees collected for conducting examinations-02041-Examination Fees”.

Candidates are suggested to take two printed copy of application form as OSSC copy and Applicants copy; for further references. Only those candidates who qualify in written examination shall have to submit the duly signed OSSC copy of online submitted application, along with DAF, original and self attested copies of required documents/ certificates as mentioned in official advertisement in the office of Commission on the date of Viva-voce test.
