Ordnance Depot, Alipore, Kolkata, invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of the posts of Material Assistant, Lower Division Clerk, and Fireman at Ordnance Depot, Alipore, Kolkata. The selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years.
Material Assistant- 9 Vacancies
Lower Division Clerk- 10 Vacancies
Fireman- 1 Vacancy
Venue for Written Test: Ordnance Depot, Alipore, Kolkata- 27
Minimum Qualification Required:
Material Assistant- The candidate must possess Graduate degree in any discipline from any recognized University or Diploma in Material Management or Diploma in Engineering in any Discipline from any recognized Institution.
LDC- The candidate must have passed 12th class from a recognized Board or University. Candidates should have Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English on computer or a typing speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer (35 words per minute and 30 words per minute correspond to 10500/9000 key depressions per hour on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).
Fireman- The candidate must have passed Matriculation. Candidates must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must have pass the Physical measurement.
Age Limit: As on closing date for receipt of application
Material Assistant: Minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum age limit is 27 years.
Lower Division Clerk and Fireman: Minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum age limit is 25 years
However, relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale:
Material Assistant – Rs. 5200- 20200/- + Grade pay 2800/-
Lower Division Clerk and Fireman – Rs.5200- 20200/- + Grade Pay 1900/-
Mode of Selection: The candidate will be selected on the basis of written test.
