Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL), invited online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Office Assistant Grade III (Trainee) Vacancies.
OFFICE ASSISTANT GRADE III (Trainee)- 53 Vacancies
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Computer Based Test of Reasoning & Mental Ability (20%), Computer Application (15%), General Awareness (10%), English (20%), Mathematics (15%) and Odia comprehension (10%). Apart from the above, descriptive questions from English will be of 10%. The Computer Based Test will be of three hours duration.
Shortlisted candidates shall be called for Skill Test. The Skill test will carry a weight of 20%.
The merit list of the qualified candidates will be drawn purely on the basis of Performance in the CBT and Skill Test.
Selected candidates will be on training for a period of one year, with a consolidated stipend of Rs. 12,000/- per month.
On successful completion of the training, the candidates will be appointed as Office Assistant Grade-III (Level: NE-6) in regular establishment in the Pay Matrix: Rs 29,200/- to Rs 92,300/- with initial Basic Pay of Rs 29,200/-.

Computer Based Test:
Qualification: Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 60% Marks (50% in case of SC / ST / PwBD candidates). Candidate must have adequate knowledge in computer application.
Candidates must be able to read, write and speak Odia fluently; and must have Passed Middle School examination with Odia language subject; OR Passed Matriculation or examination with Odia as medium of examination in non-language subject ; OR Passed in Odia as language subject in the final examination of class VII from a school or educational institution recognized by the Government of Odisha or the Central Government. OR Passed a test in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 32 years a son 01-Jan-2023. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.

Rs. 590/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates
Rs. 1062/- for Unreserved/ SEBC Category candidates
