Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) invites online applications from ST category candidates for recruitment of 140 Posts of Assistant Section Officers (03 in Governor’s Secretariat and 137 in State Secretariat) with its present notification.

Pay Scale & Remunerations: The applicant selected for these positions will be eligible to receive a Pay Band of PB-II in the range of Rs.9300-34800/- with a Grade Pay of Rs.4200 along with other allowances.
Essential Eligibility Factors:
- Age: The candidates must have completed 21 years of age but not exceeded 32 years of age as on 01-January-2015. There will be five years of relaxation in upper age limit for ST, Women, and Ex-serviceman candidates, and ten years for physically handicapped candidates.
- Minimum Educational Qualification: Candidate must have obtained Bachelors Degree in any discipline and must have knowledge of computer operations.
- Language Proficiency: The candidates should be fluent in Odia language and should have passed minimum 7th Standard with Odia Medium or equivalent.
Mode of Selection: The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of Written Exam and Skill Test. The Examination will be held at different centers at 05 Zones (Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and Sambalpur) of the state.
