Ordnance Equipment Factory at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh was established in 1859 under Ordnance Factory Board (OFB), Kolkata, Ministry of Defence, Government of India. It is one of the primitive and important equipment manufacturing factories among the group of 41 factories.

Eligibility Criteria: Eligible candidates should have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination n from a recognized University or Board. Interested candidates are suggested to go through official recruitment notification in detail to get the required educational qualification for each individual positions.
Age Limit: Applicant must be of minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years of age for Senior Nurse Grade II, Ward Sahayak, L.D.C., Store Keeper, Fireman, Stenographer positions; and Maximum 32 years for Cook (NIE), CMD(OG), Staff Car Driver (OG), Welder, Carpenter, Leather Worker, Fitter General, Tailor men positions. Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ ST, 3 years for OBC, 3 years for ex- servicemen and to other candidates as per the rules.
Pay Scale:
Senior Nurse Grade-II: Rs. 9300-34800/- + GP Rs.4600/-
Ward Sahayak, Welder, Carpenter, Leather Worker, Fitter General, Tailor men: Rs. 5200-20200/- + GP Rs. 1800/-
L.D.C., Store Keeper, Fireman, Cook (NIE), CMD(OG), Staff Car Driver (OG)– Rs. 5200-20200/- + GP Rs. 1900/-
Stenographer– Rs. 5200-20200/- + GP Rs. 2400/-
Application Fee & How to: Candidates must submit Rs. 50/- as application fee in the form of crossed indian postal order in favour of The Senior General Manager OEF, Kanpur.
SC/ ST/ Ex-Serviceman, Physically Handicapped Persons and Female Candidates are however exempted from application fee.
