Candidates will be selected on the basis of Preliminary Test, Advanced Test, and Skill Test. Selected candidates will be on training for a period of two years. On successful completion of training, Trainees are likely to be considered for appointment to the post of Technician “B” in the Level 3 of 7th CPC Pay as per CCS (RP) Rules with entry pay Rs.21,700/- plus other allowances.

Age Limit As on 21-May-2018: Minimum 18 years, and Maximum 25 years for Stipendiary Trainee/ Scientific Assistant, and 24 years for Stipendiary Trainees/ Technician positions. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.
Qualification:
Scientific Assistant: Candidates must possess Diploma in relevant engineering discipline with minimum 60% marks.
B.Sc. with Physics as principal and Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary for B.Sc. Physics discipline; B.Sc. with Chemistry as principal and Physics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Electronics and Computer Science as subsidiary for B.Sc. Physics discipline; OR with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects with equal weight-age. Candidates must have secured minimum 60% marks in qualifying degree.
Technician:
For Plant Operator- Candidates must have passed HSC (10+2) or I.Sc. (with Science subjects) with minimum 50% marks in Science and Mathematics individually. Candidates Shall have English as one of the subjects at least at SSC level Examination.
For All Other Disciplines- Candidates must have passed HSC (10+2) or I.Sc. (with Science subjects) with minimum 50% marks in Science and Mathematics individually. Candidates must possess two years ITI Certificate Course in Electrician/Electronic Mechanic/ Instrument Mechanic/ Fitter/ Turner/ Machinist/ Welder/ Draughtsman (Mechanical)/ Plumber Trade. Candidates Shall have English as one of the subjects at least at SSC level Examination.
For trades for which the duration of the ITI course is less than 2 years, the candidates shall have at least one year relevant working experience after completion of the course. Candidates must have fulfill minimum required Physical Standards.
Stipend During Training:
Rs. 16000/- per month for first year, and Rs. 18000/- per month for second year for Stipendiary Trainee/ Scientific Assistant Post
Rs. 10500/- per month for first year, and Rs. 12500/- per month for second year for Stipendiary Trainee/ Technician Post.
