Candidates will be selected on the basis of written exam, Psychological/ Aptitude test, medical exam, and verification of documents. There shall be negative marking in written examinations and 1/3 of the alloted marks for each question shall be deducted for every wrong answer. Candidates should submit only one application for each category.

Qualification:
Assistant Station Master– Candidates must be Degree from recognized university or equivalent. Candidates having Diploma in Rail Transport and Management from the Institute of Rail Transport will get preferred.
Goods Guard– Candidates must be Degree from recognized university or equivalent.
Assistant Loco Pilot, Technician: Matriculation or its equivalent with ITI Approved by NCVT/ SCVT in relevant trade.
Ticket Collector/ Ticket Examiner, Commercial Clerk: 12th or its equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 42 years for general candidates, 45 years for OBC category candidates, 47 years for SC/ ST category candidates as on 01-January-2017. Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates will get the relaxation in upper age limit as per rules.
