NMDC Recruitment 2013 For Various Positions Under Its Greenfield Steel Plant And Other Units

NMDC Limtied, a Navaratna Public Sector Entersprise under the Ministry of Steel, Govt. of India, and a multi locational, multi product and consistently profit making Mining & Mineral exploration Organization with about Rs. 11,000 crore turnover is in the process of massive expansion and diversification in India and abroad. The Company is also setting up an Integrated Steel Plant at Nagarnar near Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh State. NMDC is now looking for suitable persons for the following posts to be deployed in its integrated Steel Plant, Nagarnar and other Units.

With the recent notification from NMDC, the company desires to recruit adequately self-motivated and energetic individuals in various positions under its Greenfield Steel Plant and other Units in E4 to E7 grade.

Pay Scale, Grade Pay and Remunerations:

  • Jt. General Manager(E7): Rs.19500 – Rs.25350 (Pre-revised) Under revision 18
  • Dy. General Manager (E6): Rs.19000 – Rs.24400 (Pre-revised) Under revision 18
  • Asst. General Manager(E5): Rs.43200 – Rs.66000 in IDA Pattern
  • Sr. Manager (E4): Rs.36600 – Rs.62000 in IDA Pattern
  • Manager (E3): Rs.32900 – Rs.58000 in IDA Pattern
  • Jr. Officer: Rs.15000 – Rs.38000 in IDA Pattern
  • Other facilities as per rules of State Home Department

Minimum Experience in Years:

  • Jt. General Manager(E7): Minimum 18 years of experience
  • Dy. General Manager (E6): Minimum 15 years of experience
  • Asst. General Manager(E5): Minimum 13 years of experience
  • Sr. Manager (E4): Minimum 10 years of experience
  • Manager (E3): Minimum 07 years of experience
  • Jr. Officer: Minimum 01 years of experience

Minimum Academics:

  • Mechanical/Metallurgy/Electrical/Chemical/Instrumentation/Civil/ Structural Engineers for various functional areas of NISP, Nagarnar: Degree in Engineering preferably First class in Mechanical/ Metallurgy/ Electrical/ Chemical/ Instrumentation/ Civil/ Structural discipline with experience as indicated at II level below in operation/maintenance of any of the major units of an integrated steel plant.
  • Industrial Safety (For the post of Sr. Manager (E4)/Manager (E3) (FOR NISP, Nagarnar): The candidate should be a Graduate in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering with a Degree /Diploma in Industrial Safety from a reputed institute like Central Labor Institute (CLI)/ Regional Labor institute (RLI). The candidate should have working experience as at II level below in a large manufacturing organization preferably in an Integrated Steel Plant/ Power Generation Plant/ Heavy Engineering industries/ Continuous Process industry.

Candidates having experience in administration of Safety provisions and knowledge of industrial Safety Systems and regulations under the Factories Act will be preferred.

  • Horticulture (For the post of Junior Officer (Horticulture) (Supervisory level) (for NISP Nagarnar): The candidate should have PG Degree in Science (MSc.) with Agriculture/Horticulture or B.Sc (Agri) of 4 years course or B.Sc (3 years) + PG Diploma in Agriculture/ Horticulture. 1 Year experience in line is desirable
  • SR. MANAGER (Ceramic)(E4)/Manager(Ceramic)(E3) – For Panthal Magnesite Project Of J&K MDC: Degree in Ceramic Engineering preferably first class from a reputed institute. The candidate should have post qualification experience as indicated at II below in erection and commissioning of refractory plant or a similar plant involving Shaft Kin. Candidates having experience in production/marketing of basic refractory will have an added advantage.

  • Jt. General Manager(E7): Maximum age of 52 years
  • Dy. General Manager (E6): Maximum age of 52 years
  • Asst. General Manager(E5): Maximum age of 50 years
  • Sr. Manager (E4): Maximum age of 50 years
  • Manager (E3): Maximum age of 45 years
  • Jr. Officer: Maximum age of 35 years

Selection Procedure:

The selection may be done through only Interview or through written Test and Interview as per the discretion of the NMDC.

Depending upon the performance Merit List the candidates will be offered postings through designated positions.
