With the recent announce from NDA, this glorious institution seeks for young and energetic professionals to join its office in various profiles of Group-C posts.

The details of the eligibility norms and application procedure are as follows:

  • Last date for receipt of Applications from far-flung areas: 28 Days from the date of publication of this advertisement by NDA

Details of the Posts & Number of Vacancies: Total 178 Posts (UR-102, SC-01, ST-02, OBC-73 out of which PWD-20, Ex-SM-17)

1)    Chemical Assistant  (Museum and Archives): 01 Post (UR)

2)    Games Coach (Tennis or Squash): 01 Post (UR)

3)    Lower Division Clerk: 21 Posts (UR-13, ST-02, OBC-06)

4)    Draughtsman: 01 Post (OBC)

5)    Compositor-cum-Printer: 01 Post (UR)

6)    Fireman: 03 Posts (SC-01, OBC-02)

7)    Cook: 14 Posts (UR-07, OBC-07)

8)    Carpenter: 01 Post (UR)

9)    Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade): 02 Posts (UR-01, OBC-01)

10) Technical Attendant – Baker & Confectioner: 01 Post (OBC)

11) Technical Attendant – Cycle Repairer: 01 Post (OBC)

12) Technical Attendant – Boot Repairer: 01 Post (UR)

13) Multi Tasking Staff- Office & Training: 130 Posts (UR-76, OBC-54)

Note: 10% Vacancies are reserved for Ex-Servicemen candidates from each category

Pay band:

  • For Chemical Assistant: The applicants selected for various Constable-Pioneer posts will be offered monthly emoluments as in the Pay Band-1, Rs.5200-Rs.20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2800 along with other applicable allowances.
  • For Games Coach & Draughtsman: The applicants selected for various Constable-Pioneer posts will be offered monthly emoluments as in the Pay Band-1, Rs.5200-Rs.20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2400 along with other applicable allowances.
  • For LDC, Compositor-cum-Printer, Fireman, Cook, Carpenter & Civilian Motor Driver: The applicants selected for various Constable-Pioneer posts will be offered monthly emoluments as in the Pay Band-1, Rs.5200-Rs.20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1900 along with other applicable allowances.
  • For Technical Attendant & Multi Tasking Staff: The applicants selected for various Constable-Pioneer posts will be offered monthly emoluments as in the Pay Band-1, Rs.5200-Rs.20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1800 along with other applicable allowances.

Education Qualification:

The candidate must have the following qualification to be eligible for the job positions:

  • Chemical Assistant  (Museum and Archives): The candidates must have completed B.Sc. with Chemistry and should have at least 5 years of experience in Chemistry Laboratory or Museum or Archives. Knowledge of store keeping is desired.
  • Games Coach (Tennis or Squash): The candidates must have completed Graduate Degree or equivalent and must have 3 years experience as a coach in respective sports discipline.
  • Lower Division Clerk: The candidates must have completed 12th (Intermediate) standard. Must have typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer for 10 minutes.
  • Draughtsman: The candidates must have completed 12th (Intermediate) standard along with 2 years Diploma in Draughtsmanship, or equivalent. Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Draughtsman.
  • Compositor-cum-Printer: The candidates must have completed 12th (Intermediate) standard. Must have at least 2 years of experience in the concerned trade.
  • Fireman: The candidates must have completed Matriculation or equivalent examination with a valid civilian driving license for heavy vehicles. Must have completed at least 6 month course in Fire Fighting with knowledge of fire equipments. Must maintain minimum physical standard.
  • Cook: The candidates must have completed 12th (Intermediate) standard along with 2 years Diploma/ Certificate in Cooking, or equivalent. Must have at least 2 years of experience as a cook in a reputed organization.
  • Carpenter: The candidates must have completed 12th (Intermediate) standard along with 2 years Trade Certificate Course in Carpentry, or equivalent. Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Carpenter.
  • Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade): The candidates must have completed 12th (Intermediate) Standard and with a valid civilian driving license for heavy vehicles. Must have 2 years of experience in driving heavy motor vehicles.
  • Technical Attendant – Baker & Confectioner: The candidates must have completed Industrial Training Institute Certificate Course in Baker and Confectioner OR, must have completed Matriculation with 1 year experience in the relevant trade as a Baker and Confectioner.
  • Technical Attendant – Cycle Repairer: The candidates must have completed Industrial Training Institute Certificate Course in Cycle Repairing OR, must have completed Matriculation with 1 year experience in the relevant trade as a Cycle Repairer.
  • Technical Attendant – Boot Repairer: The candidates must have completed Industrial Training Institute Certificate Course in Boot Repairing OR, must have completed Matriculation with 1 year experience in the relevant trade as a Boot Repairer.
  • Multi Tasking Staff- Office & Training: The candidates must have completed Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized institute.

Age Specification:

  • Chemical Assistant (Museum and Archives): The applicant must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and should not have crossed the maximum age of 30 years as on the last date of submission of Application
  • Lower Division Clerk, Draughtsman, Games Coach, Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade), Fireman and Multi Tasking Staff – Office & Training: The applicant must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and should not have crossed the maximum age of 27 years as on the last date of submission of Application
  • Compositor-cum-Printer, Cook, Carpenter, Technical Attendant: The applicant must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and should not have crossed the maximum age of 25 years as on the last date of submission of Application
  • However, the relaxation in upper age is applicable as per rules for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/ Ex-SM categories.

Mode of Selection:

The selection of candidates will be following the following procedure:

  • Physical Standard Test
  • Trade Test
  • Written Exam
  • Final Medical Examination

  • Applications must be submitted in typed form/computer print out on A4 size paper (not to be hand-written except signature) as per the prescribed format.
  • Before applying for the posts, the applicants have to read through the detailed advertisement as available at //nda.nic.in , and should understand the requirements well.
  • Application completed in all respect and attached with all valid copies of education and age proofs along with a stamped (Rs.25) and self-addressed envelope must be sent to The Commandant at the address mentioned below so as to reach by last date (extended date is allowed from far-flung areas)
  • The applications must be signed with Declaration Form by each candidate
  • Candidates can apply for more than one posts, but they have to provide separate applications for separate posts.
