NBCC Recruitment 2014 For Various Managerial and Engineering Cadre Positions

Incorporated in the year 1960, NBCC (National Building & Construction Corporation) is a wholly owned Government of India Enterprise operating under the Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India. This company has been listed on the BSE and NSE as well, and has attained the status of Category-I, Miniratna PSU providing construction services in three major categories such as Project Management Consultancy, EPC Contract and Real Estate Development and construction business. Certified with ISO 9001:2008 status, NBCC has recorded an annual turnover of more than 13000 Crore by March 2013. Getting a job with this category-I Miniratna is a dream for many youth today and NBCC is also fostering that dream to become a reality through their continuous process of Human resource acquisition through various advertisements.

With the recent announcement from the NBCC, there is an announcement for filling up competent positions in the scale from Senior Executive Director to Assistant Managers and Office Assistant (Stenography).

  • Additional General Manager (Civil): Full time Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with 12 years of experience.
  • Deputy General Manager (Civil): Full time Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 60% marks and with 09 years of experience.
  • Dy. General Manager (Electrical): Full time Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 60% marks and with 09 years of experience.
  • Project Manager (Civil): Full time Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 60% marks and with 06 years of experience.
  • Dy. Project Manager (Civil): Full time Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 60% marks and with 03 years of experience.
  • Dy. Project Manager (Electrical): Full time Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 60% marks and with 03 years of experience.

  • Dy. General Manager (HRM): Full time MBA/ MSW/ 2 years Post-Graduate Diploma in Management with specialization in HRM / PM / IR as major subjects (with at least 60% marks) and with 09 years experience.
  • Manager (HRM): Full time MBA/ MSW/ 2 years Post-Graduate Diploma in Management with specialization in HRM / PM / IR as major subjects (with at least 60% marks) and with 06 years experience.

  • Assistant Manager (Marketing): Full time MBA/ two years Post Graduate Diploma in Management and specialization in Marketing as major subject (with 60% marks in aggregate) and with 2 years of experience.
  • Dy. Manager (HRM): Full time MBA/ MSW/ 2 years Post-Graduate Diploma in Management with specialization in HRM / PM / IR as major subjects (with at least 60% marks) and with 03 years experience.
  • Asst. Manager (HRM): Full time MBA/ MSW/ 2 years Post-Graduate Diploma in Management with specialization in HRM / PM / IR as major subjects (with at least 60% marks) and with 02 years experience.
  • Sr. Stenographer: Graduate in any stream with Stenography/ Typing speed in English 110/50 wpm and Stenography/ Typing speed in Hindi 100/40 wpm and with 2 years of Stenography experience.
    • Office Assistant (Stenography): Graduate in any stream along with speed in English and Hindi Shorthand 70 wpm and typing speed on Computer 35/30 wpm respectively

Age Specific Requirements (as on 11-July-2014):

  1. Sr. Executive Director: Should not exceed 57 years
  2. General Manager:  Should not exceed 49 years
  3. Additional General Manager:  Should not exceed 45 years
  4. Dy. General Manager: Should not exceed 41 years
  5. Manager: Should not exceed 37 years
  6. Project Manager: Should not exceed 37 years
  7. Dy. Manager: Should not exceed 33 years
  8. Dy. Project Manager: Should not exceed 33 years
  9. Assistant Manager: Should not exceed 30 years

10. Jr. Engineer: Should not exceed 25 years

11. Jr. Hindi Translator: Should not exceed 25 years

12. Sr. Stenographer: Should not exceed 25 years

13. Office Assistant (Stenography): Should not exceed 22 years

However, the maximum age limit can be extended further for privileged categories as per rules of the central government.

Pay Provisions:

The applicants will be inducted in the following scales:

  • Sr. Executive Director: Rs.62000 – Rs.80000 in E-9 cadre (IDA pattern)
  • General Manager:  Rs.36600 – Rs.62000 in E-6 cadre (IDA pattern)
  • Additional General Manager:  Rs.32900 – Rs.58000 in E-5 cadre (IDA pattern)
  • Dy. General Manager: Rs.29100 – Rs.54500 in E-4 cadre (IDA pattern)
  • Manager: Rs.24900 – Rs.50500 in E-3 cadre (IDA pattern)
  • Project Manager: Rs.24900 – Rs.50500 in E-3 cadre (IDA pattern)
  • Dy. Manager: Rs.20600 – Rs.46500 in E-2 cadre (IDA pattern)
  • Dy. Project Manager: Rs.20600 – Rs.46500 in E-2 cadre (IDA pattern)
  • Assistant Manager: Rs.16400 – Rs.40500 in E-1 cadre (IDA pattern)
  • Jr. Engineer: Rs.9760 in S-2 cadre open ended
  • Jr. Hindi Translator: Rs.9760 in S-2 cadre open ended
  • Sr. Stenographer: Rs.9760 in S-2 cadre open ended
  • Office Assistant (Stenography): Rs.7300 in W-3 cadre open ended

Selection Procedure:

  • The detailed selection procedure will be decided by the NBCC as per the responses received against each position. This will be notified to candidates at a later phase.
  • Candidates can appear for GD / Personal Interview in English/Hindi language, as per their choice

  • For General and OBC category (for E-1 cadre and above): Rs.1000
  • For General and OBC category (for all posts below E-1 cadre): Rs.500
  • For SC/ST/PWD/Departmental Candidates: Fees exempted
  • The application fee is payable through a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favor of NBCC Limited payable at New Delhi
  • No other mode of fee payment will be accepted.
