MRB Tamil Nadu Recruitment Notification No. 02/2019 – Medical Services Recruitment Board, Tamil Nadu, invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of 2345 Nurses. Selected candidates will be appointed on consolidated pay basis. Candidates will be absorbed into regular time scale of pay, after completion of a minimum of 2 years.

Qualification: Candidates must have completed successful training for a period of not less than three years in General Nursing in an institution approved by the state government. Successful completion of training in Psychiatry for a period of six months after successful completion of training in General Nursing in the case of candidates admitted for training on or after the 1st January 1952. Possession of basic degree in Nursing from a University or institution recognised by UGC for the purpose of its financial grant.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 32 years (57 years for ST / SCA/ SC / MBC&DNC/ BCM /BC) as on 01-July-2019.
Consolidated Pay: Selected candidates will be eligible to get the consolidated pay of Rs.14000/- per month, with Rs.500/- annual increase of consolidated pay.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of the written test of 100 marks. Written examination will be held at Chennai, Madurai, Trichirapalli, Tirunelveli, and Coimbatore.
Note: The questions will be in the standard of Diploma level in Nursing. There will be no negative marking.
Fee: Online/ Offline
For SC/ SCA/ ST category candidates: Rs. 350/-
For All other category candidates: Rs. 700/-
Candidates may pay the fee through the online payment gateway, i.e. Net Banking, Credit Card and Debit card Payment. Final Registration Number and Password will be generated after successful completion of online payment.
Candidates may also pay the fee in Offline Payment mode through system generated Indian Bank payment challan. Candidates are suggested to make he payment in any of the Indian Bank branches within two working days from the date of registration/submission of application, failing which the application will be rejected.
