MPPSC Recruitment Advertisement No 07/Exam/2017– Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC), invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of 2968 Permanent Posts of Assistant Professors in various departments under Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
Assistant Professor (Newly Created Vacancies): Total 1606 Posts in various Departments
Assistant Professor (Vacancies generated from promotion and retirement): Total 1064 Posts in various Departments
Assistant Professor (Backlog Vacancies): Total 752 Posts in various Departments
The reservation rules will only be applicable for the original domiciles of Madhya Pradesh state.

Final Date for Online Registration of Application: EXTENDED TO 30-APRIL-2018
Pay Scale and Remuneration: The candidates selected for the positions of Assistant Professors will be eligible for a Pay Scale in PB-III at the rate of Scale Pay Rs.15600-39100/- and Academic Grade Pay of Rs.6000/-. Other allowances and perks such as DA, Medical Allowances, Leave Encashment etc. will be as per rules of the state government.
Age of the candidates: The applicant must have obtained minimum 21 years and should not have exceeded 44 years of age as on 01-January-2018 to become eligible. However there is a relaxation in the upper age for the persons who are native domiciles of Madhya Pradesh only belonging to scheduled categories (SC/ ST) and OBC categories as per the state Government rules.
Educational Qualification: The candidates interested for these posts must have completed:
Post-Graduation in concerned subjects with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ ST). Must have completed NET (UGC) or SLET as conducted by Madhya Pradesh State OR, must have completed PhD in respective disciplines. Candidates having PhD degree will not be required to be judged for NET/ SLET qualifications. Candidates having experience as Guest Lecturers will be awarded preference.

For SC, ST, PWD and OBC Candidates from Madhya Pradesh: Rs.500/-
For All others from the state and from other states: Rs.1000/-
Apart from this all candidates need to pay a portal fee of Rs. 150/- for MP Online Kiosks (Rs. 100/- for self)
The fees can be paid through Online mode or through any authorized Kiosks of MPOnline as per the detailed instructions (available at www.mppsc.nic.in or www.mponline.gov.in)
Mode of Selection: The selection of candidates will be done on a short-listing for Written Examination and through a Personal Interview as per the discretion of the MP Public Service Commission.
