MP High Court – Jabalpur Recruitment Drive 2013 For ST In Category-2 & Category-3 Profiles
Judicial service is considered to be one of the most prestigious services directly under the Presidential Guidelines and Governor of the state as the direct reporting authority. Along with the judicial service there are many associated positions that need to be taken care of by recruitments from all profiles of candidates.
With the recent announcement from the Madhya Pradesh High Court, there is a recruitment opportunity only for ST candidates in the profiles of Stenographer (permanent & Adhoc basic) in category-2 & Category-3 positions.
The details of the invited application and the eligibility norms are as under:
Mode of application: Through Prescribed application form in Offline mode
Number of vacancies: 70
- Stenographer -Grade-II (permanent) : 32
- Stenographer -Grade-III (permanent) : 36
- Stenographer -Grade-III (Contractual basis) : 02

Regular staff and Support Staff to the Court Manager
Important dates:
- Last date for submission of application form by Speed Post: 19-Feb-2013
- Main examination: 24-April-2013
- Date of publication of Exam centers on the websites: 8-April-2013
Mode of selection:
There will be a Main Examination to test the Skills of typewriting and shorthand. Only candidates selected in this will be called for viva-voice and interview.
The final selection will base on the performance in the main examination and interview sessions.
Expected remuneration and Pay scale:
- Stenographer -Grade-II (permanent) : Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 along with GP of Rs.2800 and other allowances
- Stenographer -Grade-III (permanent) : Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 along with GP of Rs.2400 and other allowances
- Stenographer -Grade-III (Contractual basis) : Monthly fixed remuneration of a minimum of Rs.11000
Norms for eligibility, education, age and other essentials:
For Stenographer -Grade-II (permanent):
- The candidate must have acquired 10+2 from any MP Board
- The candidates must have passed Hindi Typing examination conducted by an MP Board
- Must have Hindi shorthand speed of 100 words per minute
- Must have passed Diploma in Computer Application
- Must be familiar with English typing
For Stenographer -Grade-III (permanent):
- The candidate must have acquired 10+2 from any MP Board
- The candidates must have passed Hindi Typing examination conducted by an MP Board
- Must have Hindi shorthand speed of 80 words per minute
- Must have passed Diploma in Computer Application
- Must be familiar with English typing
For Stenographer -Grade-III (Contractual basis):
- The candidate must have acquired 10+2 from any MP Board
- The candidates must have passed Hindi Typing examination conducted by an MP Board
- Must have Hindi shorthand speed of 80 words per minute
- Must have passed Diploma in Computer Application
Age Essentials:
The applicants must have acquired 18 years of age and must not have crossed maximum age as mentioned below:
- ST Male: 40 years
- ST Female: 50 years
- ST Widows/Destitute Women/Divorcee: 55 years
- The max age and min age will be calculated as on 1-Jan-2013 (on the last date of receipt of application)

There is no application fee for any candidates as all posts are only for ST candidates

- The candidates can download these by providing their date of birth
