Manganese Ore (India) Limited or popularly known as MOIL Limited is a government owned Miniratna-I CPSE. Its head quarters are situated in Nagpur, India. It was initially setup in the year 1896 with name Central Province Prospecting Syndicate which was later renamed as Central Provinces Manganese Ore Company Limited. It was formed with the 51% share of government of India and state governments of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra while 49% of shares were held by CPMO itself. But in 1977 these shares were taken away from CPMO and MOIL became the 100% undertaking of Indian government. It operates with 10 mines out of which four are located in Balaghat, six located in Nagpur and remaining 3 are operated through underground methods. The approximate revenue earned by the company is Rs. 10878 Million with total production of about 1,093, 363 tonnes along with the total assets of Rs. 22,203 Million.
As claimed by the company government has diversified 20% of equity through IPO out of which share of government of India will be 10% and government of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra will have 5% of total equity. In present time Indian government held 81.57% of share in company and Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh have 9.62% and 8.81% in total share. Since 2011 MOIL has recruited many employees to enhance its staff and skills with absorption of talented young graduates. This company offers sufficient opportunities for both experienced as well as freshers in public sector.

Most of the jobs of MOIL are related to technical fields where candidates are required to possess a degree of engineering in required discipline.
